In the latest installment of “old crap that’s still hanging around my work,” we have this old American LaFrance single use fire extinguisher. It’s still full.
I really want to start a fire so I can see if it works.
The seal isn’t broken, but we’re just a little past the replace by March 1973 date. I may want to have a backup extinguisher just Incase.

plot twist, they actually become highly flammable after expiring (probably not). I’d have a newer one on standby just in case. Video so we can watch how things go bad.

Sounds like a good time for some fire extinguisher training. Take a metal bin outside, put some gas-soaked rags or newspaper in it, light it up, and then test the extinguisher.

If I get to I’ll start the fire in a metal trash bin we have. That way if things get interesting at least it’ll be contained till I grab a new extinguisher.

Maybe take it to Vegas and see what Rick offers in that pawnshop that he runs with his son and his old man.
